Artist Statement Janet Devaney I have been drawing and painting all my life and when I retired, I began attending plein air workshops in Europe and at home. I prefer painting on location and I will also work in a studio when commissioned. I mainly work in oil, but paint in watercolor and acrylic as well. Belonging to the Allied Artists has been a wonderful experience. It gives me a chance to exhibit my paintings at various locations, with my fellow artists.
